The grounds , the pool and the fact that it is on the beach is exceptional.

The first room we were allocated was absolutely awful. It have a tv that was dated back to the 80’s. No flat screen! The shower was also so awful, only covered by a plastic curtain, and the tiles were filthy!We asked for an upgraded room, but they couldn’t facilitate us for two days. We then moved to a much nicer room overlooking the pool. We were charged for the updated room, but with a small discount per night. In total we stayed 7 nights.The breakfast wasn’t very good.

We liked the location very much

We didn't like the shower as it didn't drain away properly.We also didn't like the fact that people reserved sun beds and left them for most of the day, which left a lot of people that wanted to sit at the pool nowhere to sit.

The bungalow with pool view was very noisy. You could hear everything from the room next door. Other guests put their towel on sun beds without using them for hours.

Great location close to the port. Right on the beach. Nice, warm pool. Massage service outside by the pool is very pleasant with the sounds of nature and a gentle breeze. Breakfast sufficient. Possibility to order a transfer and scooter rental directly at the reception. Live music several times a week.

The room facilities are inadequate. Absolutely no soundproofing in the room, you can hear absolutely everything from the hallway. Many mosquitoes in the room. The shower is just a hose from the wall - no separation from the surrounding bathroom area, no curtain - so you have water everywhere. The biggest problem is the air conditioning, which is incredibly noisy. In short, you won't get much sleep at night here unless you sleep like a bear in winter.

In standard room no tea/coffee or many sockets in room. Very noisy if staying on road side room. Have to get up at crack of dawn to get a sunbed! Very territorial around pool.

All staff had smiles and extremely helpful such a lovely hotel sea beach and swimming pool food drinks ? definitely come back to this Hotel. We would like to thank them for a wonderful stay that we will never ever Forget. Thank You ? ?

We think the food was great. Good breakfast for us. Yogurt muesli fruit eggs toast and we are happy.

Guests reserving all the pool chairs every single day….for the entire day! I have no idea why anyone would consider this acceptable behaviour. I think the resort needs to implement some rules. If you are not sitting in a pool chair … it does not belong to you. Our entire stay we had nowhere to sit but the bar area. Luckily we are beach people! The staff is 10/10, the beach is great, the beds are comfy.

Great location. Comfortable and clean rooms. Gardens are well maintained and pool is sparkling. Nice size balconies.

Loungers really need cushions. People taking much needed bean bag seats to pad chairs for comfort. Shower design leaves entire bathroom floor soaking but this is not unusual in islands.

Great beach! Good location and quality is very good. We loved Koh Lanta and decided to stay another 9 days! We could add 2 days to Andaman but they were booked up for the rest. We preferred this hotel though more expensive.

The shower was a little bit of a shock but quickly realized that is how it is on the island. It was fine once I got my head around it!

The location was good, the beach was nice with lots of nice beachside resturants in a walkable distance. Breakfast bar was good.

booked a standard room with either a large queen bed or two twins and a balcony/ terrace with garden view. I was traveling with a friend. When we arrived at 8:30 pm we went to the reception and checked in. They brought us to a cabana( If that is what you want to call it, more like a backpackers hostile built in the 1970's with beer bottle opener on the wall next to the toilet included. ) it was located in the front parking lot next to the main road. I went back to the front desk to question the room they said I booked an economy room. When I showed them my paper work and confirmation they explained they only have three types of rooms, elite, delux and economy they claimed they have no standard room even though my booking app clearly showed the standard room confirmation. I asked them to move us to another room but of course being Christmas there was nothing availiable. We decided to take the room and try to look for something else but it being a holiday everything was booked and the hotel had already charged my card and would not refund me . The room smelt like mold and the only thing that was clean looking was the shiny tile floor. The light switches were so grimy you didnt want to touch them. There was only one outlet that the tv ( no reception) and mini fridge was plugged into. We had to unplug them to charge our phones. The beds were mildly comforable, the lighting was dismal and the towels looked as though someone had wipped their bum repeatedly on it. I asked for a new one and this one looked like it had blood stains. ( they only changed our towels once in the five days we were there, I am all for saving water but that is ridiculous ) Giving up I decided to take a shower and get some sleep. The shower had very little water pressure and the hot water went from warm to tepid. There was mildew all over the walls ( probably why the room smelt like mold) and the water from the shower ran under the sink where the drain was.

Disappointing

When we arrived the pool was being drained which meant we had no use of the facilities available. It is understandable that this has to be done but reception could’ve made us aware.There was an issue with the water in our room when we arrived which meant we had no water for 12+ hours. The staff were helpful, picked us up from the pier, helped us with bikes and offered us a stay in a sister hotel due to the water issue - which really saved our stay on Koh Lanta.

We had an incredible experience at Andaman Lanta Resort, where we were truly treated like nowhere else. The service was nothing short of a 5-star treatment. The staff at the reception were amazing, always attentive and welcoming. The food from the restaurant was fabulous, perfectly catering to both non-vegetarian and vegetarian preferences. Marc at the restaurant was like a dream—so kind, friendly, and attentive. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations, making it an unforgettable visit. Highly recommend!

Good size rooms, decent size balcony, clean, staff helpful

People putting towels on the sunbeds before 8 and then not sitting on them all day.

The pool was nice, the gardens very colourful and well maintained.The housekeeping staff were excellent, Restaurant staff were very friendly.Proximity to the beach was a big plus.

We were very disappointed with the bathroom. The shower was a basic wall attachment and the water pressure was weak.
